Agnieszka Piasna is Senior Researcher in the Economic, Employment and Social Policies Unit at the European Trade Union Institute. She has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Cambridge. Her current research interests lie in the areas of job quality, working time, women’s employment and labour market regulation. Martin Myant is Senior Researcher and Head of Unit of Economic, Employment and Social Policies at the European Trade Union Institute. Formerly Professor at the University of the West of Scotland (UK), he has researched economic and political development in east-central Europe. His current research focuses on EU macroeconomic and labour-market policies.
