Valeria Pulignano is Professor of Sociology of Work and Industrial Relations at the KU Leuven (Belgium). She heads the research group Employment Relations and Labour Markets. Her research interests include comparative European industrial relations and labour markets. Andrea Ciarini is assistant professor at the Department of Social and Economic Sciences of the Sapienza University of Rome, where he teaches Economic Sociology. His main research interests are in the fields of comparative welfare studies, labour market policies and industrial relations.
