Sergio Torrejón Pérez is a Research Scientist in Public Research Organizations, currently based at the Spanish Centre for Sociological Research (CIS). His research lies at the intersection of sociology and economics, focusing on labour markets, employment, social stratification, demography, and health. Previously, he worked as an analyst at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, the Spanish Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Wellbeing, 40dB., and the Complutense University of Madrid. He has also been a visiting researcher at EUROFOUND (Dublin) and the European University Institute (Florence).
