Marc Steiert is research fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in Frankfurt, where he works at the interface of European law, labour law and their legal history. His project Work in Transitions traces how EU labour regulation has embedded different ideas of work, in particular those associated to transitions of workers, in the European social integration process.
