Dr Rashmee Roshan Lall is a fellow of the UK Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce and a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs. She has written for, among others, the Independent, the Guardian, the Economist and the New York Times, working in eight countries in the past decade. She is a former foreign editor of the Times of India, editor of the Sunday Times of India and presenter of the BBC’s The World Today.
